Ingredients
12 oz smoked sausage rope
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning
1 package large shrimp w/ tails, peeled
Corn (I used 4; 1 for each of us)
kosher salt
1 pack of skewers
Directions
Corn
Shuck the corn & cut in half. Fill a large pot about 2/3 full of water & add a little bit of salt. Turn on high. When water starts boiling, carefully put the corn in. Cook for about 10 minutes or until bright yellow.
Shrimp
Peel the shrimp, remove the tails, & place in a bowl.
Add sliced smoked sausage, 2 teaspoons olive oil, & 2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning.
Toss to combine.
Alternating between shrimp & sausage, thread onto the skewer.
Turn griddle on to 350 degrees. Once hot, place skewers onto griddle. Cook for about 3 minutes & then flip over. Once all the shrimp are opaque & cooked through then remove from griddle.
Once done, remove from heat to avoid burning.
& enjoy!
