So much has been going on here on our homestead!
I wanted to show some of the progress we have made to the kitchen.
We decided to go with a light gray for the wall color in the kitchen.
Found this black oven & dishwasher on the Facebook marketplace for free! We already had a black fridge so it's nice to have everything the same color & to actually have a working dishwasher again!
My father-in-law came over one weekend to help us get all the cabinets attached to each other & then secured to the wall. Since we already had all the door & drawers out for that we took them all outside to get them painted. We used a paint sprayer to do this which took no time at all.
We went with a little bit darker gray compared to the walls for the cabinets.
Then it was time to prep the floor. We used caulk and filled in all the gaps between the plywood.
After the caulking we painted a layer of sealant on the entire floor. There were a few spots that were very uneven so we used a self leveler to help make it not so bad. We would've preferred to use the leveler across the whole floor but the landlord did not want to unfortunately. So we made do with what he got us.
